Dr. Vachon spent 6 years as a high school and middle school teacher prior to his transition into medicine. His experience in these two fields has encouraged him to look at the whole picture and how he can make the biggest impact with his skill set.

As a primary care physician, he saw first hand how stress and anxiety manifest themselves as physical symptoms. Often, that is reflected as difficulty sleeping.

After transitioning to radiology, he had become concerned seeing multiple patients seeking emergency medical care from stress, anxiety, and lack of sleep. As a result, Dr. Vachon decided to use his skills to help anyone suffering from sleep problems take back control of their nights.

It was from this desire to help people improve their own sleep and resiliency that Dr. Vachon designed the ORA Horizon sleep program.

“I think everyone wants 5 more minutes of sleep or 1 less wake up each night. And that is the point. We can always be a little better at taking care of ourselves and making our health a priority.
