ORA Horizon Sleep Quiz Progress 1 / 7 SLEEP BELIEFS AND ATTITUDE I dread going to bed knowing I’ll wage a battle with sleep again...and may lose. Not at all, sleep like a baby every night There are some nights I am worried I may not sleep I'm not sure why I even own a bed, it's not like I sleepThoughts race through my mind and this prevents me from sleeping. Not me, quiet as a library Sometimes I have racing thoughts Like a race carAs I lay in bed at night, I often think about my problems or the difficulties I’ve had during the day. Not me, I can turn off everything very easily Once in awhile I am awake - up with stressors on my mind I can't stop thinking about the problems of the dayI force myself to sleep even if I don’t feel tired. Not me -- I only hit the sheets when tired, regardless of what time it is Sometimes I follow a bed time Of course -- Every. Single. Day.I force myself to stay awake so I can complete work even if it’s already my bedtime. Work can wait -- I love my pillow more than my computer Some nights I stay up late to be sure things are done I will not go to sleep until everything is taken care of Progress 2 / 7 Sleep Hygiene For some reason I wake up during the night and just count the hours till morning. Never - sleep like a log Some nights each week I find myself up at night Tossing and turning pretty much every nightMy waking times vary throughout the week Not me - in bed at 9 up at 5 - EVERY DAY Sometimes I change my alarm for a sleep-in treat That's me - I have at least 10 alarms on my phoneI travel to different time zones. I never leave my HOME town! Occasionally I travel for work Almost every week I am somewhere newI often feel tired during the day so I take a nap. Never Couple cat naps throughout the week An hour+ nap every dayI prepare my mind and body for sleep every night. I pray, meditate or listen to relaxing sounds Sometimes I have a plan to relax before bed I keep my mind going trying to solve arguments or problems I've had during the day Progress 3 / 7 Light exposure and physical activity I am exposed to sunlight... Everyday - I love the outdoors! Early morning / afternoon walk or jog a few days per week Barely - by choice or circumstanceAt night, as I lay in bed, my bedroom is ... Dark as a tomb Lit enough to see all the furniture Well lit, with the TV on and some gadgets tooI get exposed to bright lights at my office. Our entire building is lit up like a Christmas tree My work ambient light is comfortable Dracula wouldn't feel out of place at my officeI do vigorous exercise close to bedtime. Not even close If I missed a workout, I don’t mind knocking it out close to bedtime My pillow has sweat stains - from the treadmill straight to bedI work out or do physical activities like sports, gym training, dancing, etc. At least three times a week. See my bulging biceps and this six-pack? (no, not the beer!) Once a week or so I get up from the couch to get the TV remote -- does that count? Progress 4 / 7 Gadgets and screen time I catch up with friends online just before I go to sleep. Never -- Once I'm in bed, my phone practically doesn't exist A few times per week I like to scroll my feeds before sleeping Would I dare miss an update? Are you kidding???I take my laptop to bed as I catch up on work or do some shopping before I sleep. Never. That's what an office is for, isn't it? Occasionally I get some work done in bed before sleeping Every night. Gotta squeeze in work whenever I can!I watch TV and play computer games in bed. No. My bedroom is purely for sleeping and intimate action A couple times per week Most of the time -- I have a multi-purpose bed!I like reading thought-provoking or emotional books and articles in bed before I sleep. I read gentle fiction or relaxing titles before sleep each night (Or no reading at all before bed) I read, but I don’t choose the type of book based on bedtime Absolutely! Page turners mean bedtime to meDo you prefer reading on a phone / e-reader or a printed book? Bookworm here! I like flipping through actual pages that I can touch (Or I don’t read before bed) Soft backlit Kindle or something similar Tablet, iPad, phone or another bright device Progress 5 / 7 Sleep Environment I sleep with my pets. Absolutely not! We have separate sleeping spaces (or I have no pets) My pet sleeps on my bed sometimes Fido and Missy are practically part of the familyMy partner has a different sleeping pattern than me. We're an absolute match, even in the way we sleep! There are a few nights we wake each other up So true! Sometimes it's tempting to kick him/her off the bed so I can sleep in peaceMy partner and I prefer different temperatures when sleeping. Not at all! Sometimes Shiver and Sweat - so different!My bedroom has considerable noise at night. Quiet as a tomb I hear distracting noise a few times per week I live in a busy neighborhood and I'm not too shy to party eitherI feel that my bed may be too hard or too soft. Just riiiiight There are some nights it seems to bother me I have been wanting a new bed forever! Progress 6 / 7 Food, drink and nicotine I drink alcohol to help me sleep at night. Not a drop Glass of wine a few times per week after dinner A nightcap is part of my bedtime ritualI like having midnight snacks of sugary or rich foods. Nothing after dinner I snack after dinner occasionally Every night. Pizza, doughnut, ice cream -- yum!I drink coffee, soda or tea in the mid-afternoon or later. I don't drink coffee or tea (caffeinated) past 3 pm When I am dragging, I’ll occasionally have an evening blast of coffee I think my veins are filled with caffeine -- I practically chug the stuff the whole dayI eat a heavy dinner. Light dinner almost every night Every other night I’ll have a big dinner Most nights. Plate full. I can't help it if my partner is a great cook!I smoke Never. Ever. A few here and there each week Every day.
